The Richard Korpi Ice Rink

-
Located
on the campus of Bayonne High School, on the shores of the Newark
Bay, proudly overlooking the impressive body of water and the
industrial landscape of Port Newark and Newark International Airport
in the distance, the Richard Korpi Ice Rink is
a state of the art facility rivaling any multipurpose athletic
complex in the New York Metropolitan area. The fully enclosed temperature
controlled Ice rink provides
the Bayonne High School hockey team, The Bayonne Bees,
with home ice conveniently located just steps from the main high
school buildings. This affords Bees players a complete and modern practice and game
facility which can be utilized at reasonable times, unlike most high
school programs which do not have an ice rink to call their own.
Parents, students and fans also enjoy the benefits of a modern ice
rink located in the heart of the city. Dropping off or picking up
players for practice, or attending home games, is just a short walk
or drive from anywhere in town. Limited free public parking is
available on site.
-
The rink also
hosts a full range of ice related activities open to Bayonne
residents and non Bayonne residents alike, including;
-
